ARCA, Spinnaker partner on cash movement compatibility

ARCA, a provider of cash automation technology, and Spinnaker International, a manufacturer of intelligent banknote neutralization systems, have announced the compatibility of the ARCA self-sealing cash bags with the iBox.

According to a press release, the cash-in-transit provider loads self-sealing cash bags from the ARCA CM18b and CSeXtra into the Spinnaker iBox before returning to the armored car.

This compatibility increases security, speeds up collection times for the CIT provider and reduces in-store disruption for the customer, the release said.

The iBox is available with a tracking system to aid recovery — even indoors or underground.

"The certification of the ARCA CM18b and CSeXtra bags with Spinnaker's iBox extends the security and safety solution value for our customers," Pete Smith, ARCA retail solution product manager, said in the release. "Transporters, financial institutions and retailers can all benefit immediately from this high level of cash security."
