Another ISO signs on for MoneyPass network, other Genpass services

June 8, 2004

IRVING, Texas - Universal Debit and Credit Corporation, a Chantilly, Va.-based ISO, has signed an agreement with Genpass, Inc. for services including ATM terminal driving, the MoneyPass Surcharge-Free ATM Network and PayCards, stored value debit cards that can be issued in place of paychecks, or to provide a money transfer service.

Carlos Gavidia, Universal's president, said there are "tremendous synergies" between PayCards, ATMs and surcharge-free ATM access. "(Genpass has) designed their products to be easy to sell and be understood. We have already signed several new employers for the PayCard, which has also led to several ATM placements."

ATM Merchant Systems, a Las Vegas-based ISO, recently added some of its ATMs to the MoneyPass network. (See related story 2 more c-store chains join MoneyPass network)
