American Express qualifies ICC ExpressPay test suite

The test tool will allow acquirers to perform AmEx accreditation for acceptance of ExpressPay contactless EMV chip cards.

ICC Solutions recently announced that its ExpressPay accreditation test suite has been qualified by American Express.

According to a company press release, this addition to the ICCsimtmat portfolio will allow acquirers to perform AmEx accreditation testing as they deploy and upgrade payment terminals to accept ExpressPay contactless EMV chip cards.

ExpressPay uses a contactless smart chip that lets consumers make purchases at the POS without a PIN or signature.

"We are pleased to offer this comprehensive new test suite for ExpressPay accreditation testing, qualified by American Express," said ICC Acquirer Test Manager Marc Regan. "The introduction of this new test suite enables ICC Solutions customers to further enhance their EMV portfolio and expand their testing capabilities."
