AMCOR gets ISO 9001:2008 certification

AMCOR has recently been assessed and certified for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for logistics services, including inventory management, depot repair and parts distribution services.
According to a news release, AMCOR first obtained ISO certification in 1998 and has continued to build and improve upon the system.
"Our ISO Quality Program is integrated into every aspect of our business,' said Tom St. John, president of AMCOR. "We have implemented systems to track and improve quality throughout every department. The end result is a better product for our customers."
AMCOR provides inventory management, depot repair, replacement parts and refurbishment services to maintenance organizations, OEMa and end-users worldwide. Based in Fairfield, N.J. AMCOR has additional service and distribution centers in El Paso, Texas, Juarez, Mexico, and the Czech Republic.
AMCOR provides component level repair, whole unit repair and refurbishment for printers, kiosks, self-checkout equipment, touchscreens, bill acceptors, coin dispensers, PCs and complex keyboards.
