Alogent, Partner Colorado CU roll out merchant RDC

Alogent, a provider of end-to-end payment processing and digital banking solutions for financial institutions, has announced that Partner Colorado Credit Union, a 37,000-member institution, has expanded its use of Alogent teller and remote deposit software to include merchant capture. 

ImagePoint, the Alogent solution for merchant capture, enables small- to medium-size businesses to deposit checks outside of banking hours simply by using a check scanner. This allows merchants to more easily manage their receivables, according to a press release.

Partner Colorado is one of the few FIs to offer banking services to the expanding cannabis industry in Colorado; chief operating officer, Spencer Guilford, said the new service means that cannabis merchants and other retailers can now bank with greater convenience. 

"Alogent was already a trusted partner, and expanding our collective footprint into the merchant capture space was a natural next step," he said. "With these additional capabilities, we can ensure our members have access to a convenient deposit solution so they don’t have to rely on cash or bring payments to a branch."
