Allpoint Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardtronics Inc., had a banner year in 2015, welcoming five of the top 100 credit unions, the company said in a press release.

The new additions bring the network's total number of top 100 credit union clients to 24, and the total number of members represented to more than two million. Rankings are based on deposit and membership data from USCreditUnions.com as of Sept. 30, 2015, the release said.

In all, Allpoint established new client relationships with 84 U.S. FIs in 2015, Cardtronics said. New CU clients in the top 100 include:

  • Alaska USA Federal Credit Union
  • Keesler Federal Credit Union
  • Lake Michigan Credit Union
  • Langley Federal Credit Union
  • Teachers Federal Credit Union

"Financial institutions are moving to a self-service model where members can manage many of their day-to-day banking needs with mobile tools on their smart phones as well as online," said Bill Knoll, managing director of the Allpoint Network.  "With self service comes fewer branch visits and members increasingly expecting to be able to access their cash whenever and wherever they want without having to pay a surcharge fee.  Allpoint makes it easy for FIs to instantly and cost-effectively meet this demand by offering their members thousands of surcharge-free ATMs conveniently located at premier retailer locations."
