Turkey's leading bank has completed the first European deployment of the NCR SelfServ 91 Interactive Teller solution.

NCR Corp. and Turkey's Akbank have partnered on three different use cases of NCR Interactive Teller in locations with the goal of increasing customer access to everyday banking services. According to a press release, the project represents the first European installation of NCR SelfServ 91 Interactive Teller.
All deployments are in Istanbul at sites that include:
"Our customers demand the best experience when they bank with Akbank," said Orkun Oguz, EVP of direct banking at Akbank. "[W]e aim to further enhance customer service and the effectiveness of our banking services by increasing access to banking services using the [interactive teller] technology without losing the advantages of human interaction."
NCR Interactive Teller lets financial institutions offer access to teller services during nontraditional banking hours, build new small-footprint branches, and provide full teller services in areas not served by branches, the release said. At the same time, they take advantage of the advanced ATM features such as intelligent deposit, bill pay and new account and loan initiation.
