ADT launches new anti-skim solution

ADT Business Solutions has launched its next generation of anti-skimming solutions, the company announced today in a press release. The ADT Anti-Skim ATM Security kit offers multilayered security to help protect ATM users from skimming fraud.

The kit features a higher-compatibility device with a compact footprint, making it suitable for installation on all major ATM makes and models. The kit's price makes it more cost-effective than before to deploy on a broad scale. The ADT Anti-Skim kit:

• Mitigates crimes before they occur by disrupting the operation of a card skimming device on the ATM
• Detects foreign devices on areas of the ATM where cameras, card slot skimming readers and keypad overlays may be placed
• Generates audible and visual warnings when a fraud attempt is detected
• Provides a full range of ATM card trapping, tamper and false-front protection
