Access Softek Partners with Cachet to deliver mobile check deposit

In a news release this week, mobile banking platform provider Access Softek announced it will form a partnership with remote deposit capture solutions provider Cachet Financial Solutions. This will allow the companies to integrate Cachet’s mobile check deposit services into Access Softek’s Mobile Finance Manager banking platform.

As a result, Access Softek mobile platform customers will be able to deposit members’ checks regardless of where they may be. Cachet’s complete solution, which includes account management, sales and marketing assistance, and 24/7 customer service, provides financial institutions the ability to quickly and efficiently deploy the product to the end user.

The partnership will allow account holders to manage almost every banking function from a mobile device. Industry analysts anticipate a high adoption rate for mobile deposit capture solutions, especially among current users of mobile banking applications. A 2010 study by research firm Mercatus LLC found that 59 percent of mobile banking customers were likely to adopt mobile deposit capture if their financial institution offered the technology.
