HOUSTON - Access ATM, a full-service provider of ATMs, point-of-sale equipment and transaction processing, has become a master distributor for DASH ATM, a manufacturer of drive-up and walk-up ATM enclosures designed for the ISO market.
Mike Adams, a partner in DASH ATM, said that using his company's enclosure and an ATM such as the GTI 2500 TTW or Qualtex WeatherMaster, ISOs can target new locations such as strip malls, car washes and parking lots. Because many of these prospects have never been approached by an ATM sales representative, Adams said, they typically do not haggle over their share of ATM fee income.

Access ATM plans to target credit unions and small banks to provide them with a lower-cost alternative to achieving Triple DES compliancy.
Chris Schneider, chief executive and a partner of Access ATM, said the company is currently in negotiations with Tranax Technologies and Triton, and hopes to begin offering their latest through-the-wall units geared toward financial institutions.
Schneider called drive-up ATMs "the next evolution in our industry."
He said, "We all are seeing the effects of in-store ATM saturation and are now making less money today then we were a year ago on those same units. That is why Access ATM has made a move into the drive-up ATM market and has teamed up with DASH ATM."
