4Cs, Euronet pair up for payment software licensing deal

The deal with St. Kitts-based Caribbean Credit Card Corp. expands Euronet's presence in the islands.

Euronet Software Solutions, a division of electronic payments provider Euronet Worldwide Inc., has entered an agreement with St. Kitts-based Caribbean Credit Card Corp. to license electronic payment software and services from Euronet. The deal will broaden 4C's portfolio of services, according to a Euronet press release.

A professional service organization, 4Cs manages credit card portfolios and merchant transaction processing for financial institutions and retailers throughout the islands of the Caribbean, and is jointly owned by thirteen banks in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States.

The agreement with Euronet allows 4Cs to issue chip-enabled prepaid and debit cards on behalf of its financial institution members, drive ATMs and offer enhanced services including Internet banking and top-up via ATM and mobile phone.
