Video intelligence company 3VR Inc. has announced the integration of its Video Intelligence Platform with Software House, a part of Tyco Security Products C-CURE 9000 security and event management system. The move will allow 3VR customers to create custom video views and tours, control PTZ cameras, and match up video with an access control alarm or event.
Systems and processes from 3VR enable users to search and mine video in order to mitigate ATM skimming and other types of fraud, and can also help with verification and reporting on compliance issues. Integration with the C-CURE 9000 allows operators to view recorded video clips and instantly access, monitor and simultaneously view live and recorded video from IP cameras. Built-in playback controls and investigative tools reduce the time required to perform searches and analytics.
"The Software House C-CURE 9000 integration brings to life the vision we had for VIMS, an open architecture that will allow 3VR customers to deploy a wide variety of applications that turn the tremendous amount of data we are able to extract from their video surveillance systems into actionable business intelligence," said Al Shipp, CEO of 3VR.
"The integration of C-CURE 9000 and 3VR VIP provides an exceptional solution for managing security," said Jeremy Krinitt, senior product manager of strategic integrations at Tyco Security Products. "Our customers now can correlate access information and video to quickly and effectively build a case around security events."
