Mobile banking a new focus for NCR, Wincor Nixdorf and Diebold

The big three in the bank ATM space are spearheading new efforts to capture mobile banking market share.

ORLANDO, Fla. — For NCR Corp., the corporate focus is self-service across seven target industries. For Wincor Nixdorf AG, it's taking banking and cash-management solutions and applying them to retail. And for Diebold Inc., integrated services that meet the changing needs of bank and credit unions throughout the world is expected to be a driving force for the company, short- and long-term.

All three companies have individual visions, but they all three share a competitive spirit, not only in ATM hardware and software, but also in financial solutions that touch numerous channels, including the mobile channel.

During the Banking Administration Institute's (BAI's) Retail Delivery Conference & Expo last month, NCR, Wincor Nixdorf and Diebold shared their banking thoughts and cross-channel solutions, as they relate to mobile banking and the future of financial products and services in a challenging, ever-more-globalized economy.
