Debbie Bianucci, the chief executive of BAI, says the global economic downturn has made identifying trends difficult, but some overarching themes are evident. For one, Bianucci says, the large banks that are doing most of the acquiring right now will come out on top and have the scale and dominance to approach the industry with great strength â once the economy turns around. Where challenges will arise is in the regional FI space, as those FIs struggle to find and define their niche. Bianucci shared her thoughts during the ATM Future Trends panel discussion Feb. 12 at the ATMIA conference in Nashville, Tenn.
