Burroughs Files Patent Infringement Suit against Panini North America

PLYMOUTH, Mich., Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Burroughs, Inc., an industry leader in technology services and payment related products, has filed suit against Dayton, Ohio based Panini North America in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan for infringement of U.S. patent No. 6,546,396. The patent generally relates to document processing systems that have a multi-platform application programming interface. Burroughs is seeking damages and injunctive relief to prevent Panini North America from using a multi-platform application program interface in the sale of its products.
