Zeta earns $250M in funding round

June 18, 2021

Zeta, a fintech startup, has raised $250 million in a funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The company's main offering is its Omni Stack, which provides multiple products and services for banks and fintechs.

The Omni Stack consists of:

  • Tachyon Credit, Debit and Prepaid processing.
  • Tachyon Loans a buy-now-pay-later and personal loan management platform.
  • Tachyon Deposits for checking accounts, saving accounts and deposits.
  • Tachyon Mobile, a mobile app for credit cards, checking accounts, loans, personal finance management and more.

"Most banks are using decades old software built at a time when Mainframes and Cobol were in vogue. They have been slow to innovate and provide poor user experiences. With Zeta, banks can leverage a modern, cloud native platform and improve speed to market, agility, cost to income ratio and user experience," Bhavin Turakhia, CEO, Zeta, said in the release. "We are privileged to have SoftBank join us in this exciting journey as we together disrupt the stagnant landscape of banking tech."
