HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - Paragon Application Systems, a provider of ATM and EFT configuration, simulation and testing software, has signed a referral agreement with XP Systems, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) and provider of processing software to credit unions.
Under the agreement, XP Systems is recommending ConfigBuilder LE, a streamlined version of Paragon's ATM configuration utility, ConfigBuilder, to credit union customers of its CAT suite of ATM solutions.
With ConfigBuilder LE, XP Systems customers can customize their ATM transaction menus, "welcome" and "please wait" screens with minimal training and with only a cursory knowledge of ATM configurations, according to a news release.
XP Systems has been using Paragon's WorkSmart ATM Suite for graphical ATM configuration and end-to-end testing of EFT processing since 2001.
"Paragon's product complements the advanced features of our CAT product, such that credit unions are able to tailor their service offerings to the cardholder or member, including promotional messages and one-to-one marketing," said Drew Foley, XP Systems' CAT Product Manager.
The XP Systems CAT suite is used by more than 240 credit unions nationwide, Foley said in the release.
"This relationship with XP Systems gives even small credit unions control over image and branding at their ATMs. XP Systems has worked closely with Paragon to provide this benefit to its customers," said Kathryn Cameron, Paragon's marketing director.
Paragon serves XP Systems as a customer resource and participates in the XP Systems Customer Conferences. Paragon and XP Systems already have eight customers in common.
