Woodforest National Bank opens Houston location

Woodforest National Bank, based in Montgomery County, Texas, has opened its 28th branch. The branch is located in a Walmart in Houston. The bank has more than 760 branches in the U.S. and 211 in Texas, according to a press release.

The branch will provide two ATMS and full-service banking within a lobby.

"We are committed to providing more convenient retail branch locations in Houston. Woodforest proudly serves our customers in one of the largest and fastest growing cities in the nation," Julie Mayrant, president and chief retail officer, Woodforest National Bank, said in the release.
