Woman attacked while using ATM in Chicago

A 66-year old woman was attacked and robbed while using an ATM at a Chase drive-thru in Chicago. One robber hit her in the head with an object, while another stole cash and her phone, according to a report by WGN 9.

She was taken to the Masonic Medical Center with a laceration but is in good condition. Her daughter was on the phone with her during the attack.

"It sounded like she was getting dragged out of the car," the victim's daughter said in the report. "I could just keep hearing her scream."

The investigation is ongoing.
