Wollette intros one-tap payment platform

Wollette, a fintech company based in the U.K., has introduced WollettePay, a one tap account-to-account payments platform.

The company plans to officially launch this solution in Q4 2025, according to a press release.

WollettePay is an open banking solution that utilizes biometrics, tokenization and encryption for a secure checkout experience. Wollette designed the system to provide a frictioness experience similar to a card network.

"We believe the future of payments is instant, intelligent, and effortless, and our mission is to remove friction from every transaction," Henry Orunkoya, founder and CEO of Wollette, said in the release. "WollettePay is the first solution to bring open banking up to speed with the card networks. We are giving consumers and merchants a payment experience that is finally as simple as it should be."

The platform will first be available in the U.K., with plans to expand into Europe in Q1 2026.
