Witness shoots attempted Chase ATM robber

A witness recently shot a man in Houston, Texas, who was allegedly trying to rob someone at a JPMorgan Chase ATM, according to a report by ABC 13.

The man allegedly told another individual to give him cash as he was withdrawing from the ATM, then he began to pistol whip him. A stranger saw the robbery in progress and shot the man in the leg and foot.

Police later discovered that the suspect was wanted in Louisiana for murder. He is currently in the hospital in stable condition. The stranger and victim were not harmed during the shootout.

The investigation is ongoing.
