Wincor Nixdorf licenses Lexcel Solutions' applications

Wincor Nixdorf AG's United Kingdom office has licensed two of Lexcel Solutions Inc.'s applications to test and manage processing in Wincor Nixdorf's hosted transaction-processing center.

Wincor Nixdorf has recently implemented Lexcel's TestSystem Network, which is a technology platform that provides a complete solution for testing transaction authorizations against regional and global networks. 

The ATM manufacturer also implemented TestSystem POS, which is software that speeds the process of application development and allows acquiring systems to be exercised without the need for additional hardware. Lexcel Solutions is a provider of business virtualization software and services for the payment technology industry.

"Wincor Nixdorf completed a thorough evaluation of competitive solutions, and the Lexcel test suite and team were able to clearly demonstrate the technical ability and experience we need to meet our current business needs," said Jan Rees, switch manager for Wincor Nixdorf in London.

Carl Kubitz, president and CEO of Lexcel Solutions, which has its headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz., said by working with Lexcel, Wincor Nixdorf effectively can manage new technologies, certification, lower processing fees and attain certification.

Wincor Nixdorf, which has its headquarters in Paderborn, Germany, is the world's second-largest ATM manufacturer based on annual shipments.
