Wescom Credit Union, based in California, has introduced two credit cards for a local university in Westwood, California. The cards are powered by Temenos' Infinity digital banking platform, according to a press release.
The union and Temenos designed an application journey with integrated ID verification, automated approval for a line of credit and only seven screens for the entire process. Customers can also save an active application to finish later.
"Our goal for this project is to help the greater university's community lay the foundation for a long-term, positive financial future with Wescom," Joseph Pellissery, CIO, Wescom, said in the release. "Temenos has enabled us to explore 'the art of the possible' with flexibility and openness to create a fully integrated digital ecosystem. Temenos' commitment to API-first, agile technology, and continuous investment in R&D was a key factor in selecting Temenos Infinity for this project. We are thrilled to be able to make banking better for this local collegiate community, together with Temenos."
Temenos will launch auto and personal loans at a later date for Wescom, according to the release.
