WesBanco wins best regional bank award

WesBanco Inc. announced it has been named one of America's Best Regional Banks via Newsweek. The organization looked at profitability, press coverage and customer surveys to determine bank's eligibility for the list, according to a press release.

Our vision is that every community we serve becomes a better place for people and businesses to thrive, and this accolade reflects our commitment to furthering that vision through exceptional financial services and strong community relationships," Jeff Jackson, president and CEO, WesBanco, said in the release. "We've been serving customers and businesses at the local level for decades and we're proud to be recognized as a trusted regional bank, helping empower their financial success."

Last year, WestBanco was also named as one of America's Greatest Workplaces and Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Family by Newsweek.
