WesBanco appoints Central Ohio president

WesBanco, an affiliate of WesBanco Inc., appointed Cris Gossard as Central Ohio market president and senior commercial banker. In this role, he will head up WesBanco's commercial lending business and help meet customers' overall banking needs, according to a press release.

Prior to joining WesBanco, Gossard served as executive director of commercial banking for JPMorgan Chase in Columbus, Ohio.

"His extensive commercial banking experience and proven performance make him an ideal fit to continue to drive growth in our Central Ohio market.
