Wells Fargo to remove ATMs from Speedways in Minnesota

Wells Fargo plans to remove 178 ATMs from Speedway locations in Minnesota. It will also add 54 advanced ATMs in branches, featuring larger withdrawals and custom denominations, according to a report by Star Tribune.

The bank claims that its ATM traffic in Speedway is down and that most customers chose to use ATMs in branch. It also added that the lease agreement was "unable to be renewed."

Customers received emails about the ATMs being removed and the ATMs display messages informing users of their removal.
