Wells Fargo recently partnered with Operation Hope Inc., a non-profit for underserved communities, to introduce Hope Inside centers to serve 150 Wells Fargo branches. These centers will features Hope financial coaches to aid financially undeserved communities with workshops and one-on-one coaching, according to a press release.
The first Hope Inside centers will open in Atlanta, Houston and Oakland markets, with plans to expand to Los Angeles, California; Minneapolis, Minnesota; New York, Newark and Camden, New Jersey; Phoenix, Arizona; and Gallup, New Mexico.
"The Wells Fargo Hope Inside centers mark a significant step forward in addressing barriers to financial wealth in diverse communities by offering a welcoming space, access to financial coaches, and expanded resources that support the financial goals of individuals with the greatest needs," John Hope Bryant, chairman and CEO, Operation Hope, said in the release. "This collaborative effort can drive meaningful change and ultimately help address the deeply rooted barriers to financial empowerment in underserved communities."
In addition, Wells Fargo is redesigning branches in low and moderate income areas to meet community needs with financial health seminars and consultations.
