Webster Financial appoints EVP, CIO

Webster Financial Corp., the holding company for Webster Bank N.A. and HSA Bank, has appointed Vikram Nafde as EVP and CIO. He was previously SVP and head of software engineering, digital delivery and agility, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Webster, Nafde held roles with Bridgewater Associates, GE Asset Management, Genpact and Starwood.

"Vikram is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in large-scale digital transformation that will be instrumental as we deliver enhanced technology initiatives to our clients and colleagues," Luis Massiani, EVP, COO, Webster, said in the release.
