MOSINEE, Wis. - On the anniversary of its 30th year in business, Wausau Financial Systems (WFS) has made its first appearance on the 2004 Wisconsin Honor Roll List as one of Wisconsin's strongest privately held organizations.
The Wisconsin Honor Roll, compiled by Deloitte & Touches LP's Milwaukee office, is an annual ranking and recognition of the largest closely held companies headquartered in Wisconsin. The Honor Roll list ranks the top privately held companies by sales, as determined by a voluntary submission.
"Receiving this recognition is certainly an honor, especially upon our 30th anniversary," said John Koci, president and chief operating officer of WFS. "Each associate with WFS has played an important role in our continued success. Our revenue growth and survival through challenges such as Y2K and 9/11 are examples of dedication and endurance."
The recognition compliments WFS' yearlong anniversary celebration. In 1974, WFS was formed as a hardware maintenance service provider servicing banks within a 60-mile radius of Wausau, Wis. Now, WFS is a multi-million dollar payment processing solution provider with its solutions found throughout the United States, as well as Europe, Asia, South and Central America, and the Pacific Rim.
WFS also was recently recognized as a Platinum and Diamond Authorized OnBase Solution Provider by Hyland Software, Inc., developer of OnBase enterprise content management software, during the 2004 Team OnBase Conference.
WFS, a value added reseller for Hyland Software for the past 10 years, was honored as a Platinum Level Partner for surpassing software revenue, exceeding the number of new customers acquired during the previous fiscal year and maintaining superior partnership interaction with all Hyland departments. Among more than 100 partners from throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia, only six resellers were recognized as accomplished Platinum Level Partners.
Hyland also recognized WFS for superior technical support in 2003 with the Diamond Support Partner Award. The award is presented to providers that retain more than 90 percent of customers on maintenance, provide direct support to more than 20 installed solutions, maintain a minimum of two certified OnBase installers over the previous 12 months and show significant participation in the 2004 OnBase Developers Conference and the 2004 Team OnBase Conference.
