Washington Trust appoints 3 business banking relationship officers

The Washington Trust Company has appointed Marcus Charlemagne, Armen Janigian and Peter Renden as business banking relationship officers. In this role, they will work with the retail branch network to craft better banking solutions, according to a press release.

Charlemagne most recently served as VP and branch manager of the North Providence branch while Janigian joined Washington Trust in 2023. Renden has more than 15 years of local and regional banking experience.

"Our retail branches have long served as the backbone of our local communities," Michelle Kile, EVP and chief retail banking officer, Washington Trust, said in the release. "With the addition of Marcus, Peter and Armen to our business banking team, we are reinforcing our commitment to being a true partner for businesses. Their expertise and collaborative approach will ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of local businesses, which in turn, helps all our communities thrive."
