Police recently arrested a man in King County, Washington for allegedly committing multiple crimes including rape, kidnapping, assault and stealing more than $1 million from ATMs.

When police arrested Scott Rhodes, 30, they discovered a bag of cocaine, multiple fire arms and a ballistic face mask, according to a report by Fox 13 Seattle.

Police had been on the lookout for Rhodes after he was charged with torturing and raping another man at gunpoint. Investigators also uncovered Rhodes was allegedly leading a group of thieves who used jaws of life and excavators to steal money from ATMs.

When King County Sheriff's detectives arrived at his home to arrest him in Edgewood, they said he tried to hop away like a jackrabbit.

"He was kind of backed in, ready to go, and then you see him like a jackrabbit literally popping out of the sunroof and taking off, leading our deputies on a chase," Capt. Stan Seo of the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, told the news outlet.

Capt. Seo said the investigation will shift to finding the other members of the ATM ring.

"The investigation is not over. There is still a larger crew out there using jaws of life, stolen equipment, and excavators to steal these ATMs," he told the news outlet.
