DENVER -- InfoNow Corporation (Nasdaq: INOW), a provider of eBusiness infrastructure services, will expand current services with Visa USA by deploying the largest national telephone-based ATM locator service as an enhancement to Visa's current Internet-based ATM locator service.
InfoNow will support the Visa Plus ATM network throughout the U.S., which includes more than 100,000 locations.
"This new telephone-based service will bring added benefits to our members while assisting Visa cardholders in locating ATMs," said John Brinnon, vice president of ATM Card Products at Visa USA.
InfoNow has been providing Internet-based locator services for Visa since 1996. With the addition of the telephone-based locator, Visa USA members and customers can now contact Visa via traditional phones, cellular phones, the Internet and Palm VII™ wireless organizers.
Using the phone-based locator service, callers dial 1-800-THE-PLUS and are greeted by an automated human voice that directs them through the menu. Using the caller's 10-digit phone number, InfoNow's service identifies the exact location of the customer and immediately provides the closest ATM locations.
"In 1996, we pioneered Internet-based locator services with Visa as our first client," said Michael Johnson, InfoNow's CEO. "InfoNow continues to develop innovative infrastructure solutions, like this telephone-based service and applications for wireless devices, like the Palm VII, enabling Visa to provide added convenience and better serve its members and customers."
