Video Display Corp. intros ATM replacement monitors for NCR, Diebold

(Australia) Cloud Computing Journal:Video Display Corp. has introduced its Display Concepts low-cost drop-in replacement monitor for ATMs from NCR Corp. and Diebold Inc. The new model V084S1 display is an 8.4-inch flat-panel LCD that replaces existing LCDs or upgrades older 10-inch CRTs. The design is touted for reducing costs and ensures long life by utilizing efficiencies in cooling through temperature-controlled fans that run only when needed, rather than continuously as in other LCD displays.
