Velera, a payments credit union service organization, has appointed Chris Watkins as SVP of client service delivery. He takes over for Kevin Spear who is retiring, according to a press release.
In his new role, Watkins will oversee the development of service models and procedures for financial institutions. Prior to joining Velera, Watkins served as SVP of client success and experience at Global Payments Inc.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Chris to our team," Dean Young, EVP, chief service officer, Velera, said in the release. "With his strong background in client experience and success, we are confident he will propel Velera to continue elevating and enhancing the client experience for our credit unions, driving further growth."
