IRVING, Texas - Zions Bank, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, has agreed to participate in the MoneyPass Surcharge-Free ATM Network, which is operated by Genpass Technologies.
According to a news release, Zions, which operates 133 full service branches and more than 200 ATMs throughout Utah and Idaho, will add all of its ATMs and an initial 500,000 cardholders to MoneyPass.
"We estimate that MoneyPass will save our cardholders more than $1.5 million per year in front-end surcharges," said Ron Ostler, senior vice president of Card Products at Zions. "And as fast as MoneyPass is growing, we believe that we will soon be able to provide our customers with more surcharge-free ATMs than any bank network in the country."
Launched in October 2003, MoneyPass has some 8,000 ATMs and more than 4 million cardholders in all 50 states.
