USPS exec to keynote Electronic Billing 2000

March 6, 2002

Herndon, VA -- Stephen M. Kearney, senior vice president of Corporate and Business Development at the United States Postal Service, will deliver a keynote address entitled "You've Still Got Mail -- the United States Postal Service in the Internet Age" at the Electronic Billing 2000 conference hosted by NACHA and the Council for Electronic Billing and Payment Oct. 26-27, at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida

Electronic Billing 2000 brings together industry experts from financial institutions, billing companies, technology and service providers, consulting firms, and others to learn what works, what doesn't, and what the future holds for electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP).

Before assuming his current position, Kearney served as vice president and treasurer at ePayments, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of a number of initiatives including the USPS eBillPay service

Other speakers will include: Avivah Litan, research director at the Gartner Group, who will address the current EBPP marketplace and reveal which business-to-consumer and business-to-business product offerings are the most successful and which have the greatest long-term opportunity; and Jeetu Patel, vice president of Research/CTO of Doculabs, who will identify why EBPP is finally starting to gain momentum and help billers determine their best approach for reaching customers.
