Uruguay installs first Bitcoin ATM

Urugay has reportedly deployed its first Bitcoin ATM in the city of Punta del Este. URUBit and inBierto worked together to deploy the device, according to a report by Cointelegraph.

Users can withdraw and deposit five cryptocurrencies: bitcoin; Binance Coin; Binance USD; Ferret Token and Urubit.

The government of Uruguay funded the project, joining 11 other South American countries in encouraging cryptocurrency adoption, according to the report.
