Upcoming ATMIA conference to include security seminar

December 3, 2002

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- The ATM Industry Association's upcoming conference, "ATMs in the Americas" March 4-7 in Miami, will include a pre-conference, one-day seminar on ATM security called "ATM Sec America."

According to the ATMIA Web site, the seminar -- the first of its kind in the U.S. -- was scheduled in response to calls for a security forum and will be modeled on similar successful ATMIA events in the UK.

The conference is being co-sponsored by NYCE Corporation, an electronic payments company comprised of 2,200 financial institution and retail ATM participants. Dennis Lynch, NYCE president and chief executive, will present the keynote address and NYCE will also offer a special afternoon session on March 6.

Complete information about the event will soon be available on the Web site and through mailings. Companies that are interested in exhibiting or sponsoring during the event, should contact marketing director Dana Fullerton at 605-528-7270, dana@trademediagroup.com.
