The University of Michigan named Huntington National Bank as its Official Consumer Bank. In this role, the bank will provide financial education and on-campus support to more than 100,000 students, faculty and staff, according to a press release.
"Huntington is the bank of choice across the state of Michigan, and we are proud to be the bank of choice for students, faculty and staff of the University of Michigan," Gary Torgow, chairman of Huntington's board of directors, said in the release. "Through this partnership, we provide exceptional banking services to the university community and deepen our commitment to making people's lives better, helping businesses thrive and strengthening the communities we serve across the state."
