MISSION, Kan. -- Universal Money, which operates a network of ATMs and provides network management and switching services for banks and third party ATM owners, reported net income of $76,184 on revenues of $ 2.4 million for the second quarter ended July 31, 2001 as compared to net income of $60,488 on revenues of $2.1 million for the second quarter ended July 31, 2000.
Earnings per share were .019 cents in the second quarter ended July 31, 2001, compared to .031 cents per share a year earlier.
The company also said the number of ATMs in the its network increased to 615 ATMs in the second quarter ended July 31, 2001, from 549 in the year-earlier quarter.
The company reported total assets of $3,777,432, up from $3,481,426 in its second quarter of 2000.
