Unit, a banking-as-a-service startup, has raised $51 million as part of a funding round led by Accel. Unit will use the funding to expand its team, accelerate growth and fast-track its product offerings, according to a press release.
In addition, Unit is also launching Unit Go, a solution to let companies create live bank accounts and issue physical and virtual cards.
"In just a few years the fintech landscape has radically expanded, with thousands of tech companies launching native fintech products in their verticals," Amit Kumar, partner at Accel, said in the release.
