Unit adds Cardtronics network of surcharge-free ATMs to platform

Unit, a banking-as-a-service platform, has added Cardtronics' Allpoint Network of surcharge-free ATMs to its platform. The platform integrates various financial services such as checking accounts, debit cards, money transfers and lending through API, according to a press release.
With this integration, Unit clients can now give customers access to Allpoint Network's 55,000 ATMs across the world.
"Unit empowers our clients to reimagine financial services by delivering all the building blocks they need to embed banking into their products," Itai Damti, co-founder and CEO of Unit, said in the release. "Our ultimate shared goal is increasing access to the financial system — which for many people includes cash. We're excited to partner with Allpoint and enable surcharge-free ATM access, which presents a meaningful step forward in our vision to add convenience and best-in-class experiences across users' entire financial lives."
