U.K. credit card spending expected to drop

A recent report expects credit card spending to drop this year in the United Kingdom.

According to an article on The Thrifty Scot, spending figures in the U.K. are expected to drop 2.7 percent from 2009 to a total of 110.59 billion pounds.

The information, released by Datamonitor, also came with the caveat that credit card spending would likely increase in 2011, climbing to 113.37 billion pounds.
