UAE wants to connect ATM switch with other Arab nations

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- The UAE is holding negotiations with Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen to connect the UAE Switch with those countries, according to a report in The Gulf News.

The UAE Switch, which links 945 ATMs throughout the UAE, is currently connected with all of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries for a total of 3,590 ATMs, according to the Gulf News.
