Truist appoints retail community banking lead

Truist Financial Corp. has appointed Donta L. Wilson to serve as the lead of retail community banking and marketing. Wilson will oversee Truist's more than 2,100 branches in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Texas, according to a press release.

He previously served as chief digital and client experience officer at Truist.
