Triton honors top sales performers for 2001

April 23, 2002

GULFPORT, Miss. -- There's only one way to earn admittance into Triton's Admiral's Club: by selling more ATMs than the next guy.

Ernest Burdette, Triton's president, honored its top sales performers for 2001, presenting them with trophies and words of praise, at the company's fifth annual Distributor's Conference here.

The awards, based on the biggest increases in sales revenue over the previous year, went to: ATM Express, ATM America and Automated Financial.

The winner in the UK was Hanco ATM Systems Ltd. In Canada, the winner was Frisco Bay. Taking honors in the international category, which includes the rest of the world, was South Africa's ATM Solutions.

In the new distributors category, the winner was ATM Outsources. Recipient of the President's Award, a special category for achievements not covered in the other categories, was E*TRADE Access.

Earlier in the year, the club members enjoyed a weeklong trip to Cancun, Mexico. While a destination for next year's winners has not yet been announced, Burdette promised it would be a warm climate, likely somewhere in the Caribbean.

Also new for 2002: a special category for top sales of Triton's 9800, a high-end machine introduced at last year's conference, and monthly e-mail updates from Triton, with a comparison of distributors' sales numbers from 2001 and 2002.
