LAS VEGAS - Transaction processor SPN Processing Network (SPN) has partnered with DPL Group to provide GPRS wireless communication for ATM transactions and 24/7 ATM security monitoring in the United States.
DPL's security solution was introduced to the Canadian marketplace in June in partnership with SPN's parent organization, TNS Smart Network Inc., the largest privately owned processor in Canada.
According to a news release, the new Hercules 1000 system resides undetected inside an ATM, dispatching alarms to appropriate personnel based on warning signs that the machine is being tampered with, such as the machine's door being opened, the ATM being tilted or power being disconnected.
"In addition to peace of mind, several cost savings can be achieved using the Hercules, including reducing landlines," said Will Kelly, director of the DPL Group.
According to the release, SPN also offers on-line ATM management tools and customizable troubleshooting notification. In addition, SPN connects to several regional and national networks such as Cirrus, Pulse, American Express and Discover.
Grow faster using DPL’s AI Powered Hercules Platform featuring built-in RMS. Level the playing field with unparalleled remote management capability. Spend less time putting out fires and more time landing locations with DPL’s managed wireless service, referred to as the “gold standard” amongst operators.
