Tradeweb Markets appoints board member

Tradeweb Markets Inc., an operator of marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets, has appointed Balbir Bakhshi to the company's board of directors, according to a press release.

Bakhshi is currently chief risk officer of the London Stock Exchange Group Plc and will be succeeding Brian West on the board of Tradeweb.

"Balbir Bakhshi brings to the board a deep and impressive background in leadership, operations and risk management," Martin Brand, chairman of the board, Tradeweb Markets, said in the release. "His experience and profound knowledge in these areas will be a valuable addition to the Tradeweb board."
