touchpoints gets new editor

May 22, 2002

LONDON -- Paul Docherty has been appointed as the new editor of touchpoints, an NCR-sponsored Web site for the ATM/self-service industry, published by Forward Ltd. He takes over from Nick Kirby, who has edited the site since its launch in September 2000.

Docherty is no stranger to touchpoints, having served as deputy editor from May to November, 2001. Prior to this he spent 10 years at British publishing house Dorling Kindersley, where he edited books on a variety of subjects including astronomy, medicine and technology.

Docherty said, "I'm looking forward to making sure that touchpoints continues to deliver strong features and industry news for all of its valued readers around the world."

The site explores self-service industry drivers and aims to lead the way in how people think about self-service transactions and customer relationships. Along with news and features, touchpoints has a community area where members can discuss the latest industry issues.

"This is a very exciting time for both the self-service industry and for touchpoints," said Kirby. "I am confident that Paul will build on the success of the site and enjoy the challenge the position of editor brings."
