TNS provides connectivity for Georgia Dome ATMs

December 23, 2003

RESTON, Va. - Transaction Network Services (TNS) will provide ATM network connectivity for ATMs located in Atlanta's Georgia Dome for Cardtronics, the operator of the machines. Cardtronics is one of the nation's largest owner/operators of ATMs, with more than 12,500 machines under contract.

Under the multi-year agreement, Cardtronics will use TNS Connect, a dedicated, private IP-based network, to support its nationwide ATM portfolio. TNS, a provider of data communications services for transaction-oriented applications, will be the exclusive communication provider for the Georgia Dome ATMs.

"With its dedicated IP backbone, TNS is providing a secure, always-on connection that allows us to quickly deploy new ATMs and support the data-intensive applications of our enhanced ATM machines," said Michael Clinard, chief operating officer at Cardtronics, in a news release.

"We look forward to supporting Cardtronics with both current and future network access technologies," said Larry Crompton, senior vice president and general manager of TNS' POS Division, in the release.
